How long will it take to get my bow?
At Haro Crafted, every bow is made with precision, passion, and respect for traditional craftsmanship. Unlike mass-produced bows, each of our handcrafted longbows is individually shaped, tillered, and finished by hand—a process that ensures exceptional quality and performance.
Because of this, please note that each bow is made to order, and crafting the perfect longbow takes time. Depending on the wood type, draw weight, and customization requests, the estimated completion time for your order can range from several weeks to several months.
We appreciate your patience and understanding—great craftsmanship cannot be rushed. Your custom bow is an investment in quality, and we assure you that the wait will be well worth it.
If you have any questions about your order status or the estimated completion time, feel free to reach out to us at info@harocrafted.com.

What is the warranty policy?
This bow is warrantied for 1 year, under normal use & manufacturer's defect.
Conditions of 'normal use' and this warranty are as follows:
Proper Stringing – Always use the double-loop stringer provided with your bow when stringing or bracing it.Respect Draw Limits – Only draw the bow to the stated draw weight and length. Never exceed your personal draw length.
Personal Use Only – While it's exciting to show off your bow, do not allow others to shoot it. Improper use can cause damage.
Storage Conditions – Store your bow away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and extreme temperatures. Keep it in a cool, dry place.
Dry Climate Precautions – If you live in an arid environment, store your bow in a location with some moisture. Some owners keep their bows in a humidified room or bathroom to prevent drying.
Warming Up Your Bow – Do not shoot your bow “cold.” After bracing, let it rest for a minute, then gradually warm it up by drawing to half of its limit about 10-15 times before shooting.
Brace Height – Always measure brace height from the back of the bow and never exceed the recommended brace height.
Avoid Dry Firing – Never release the string without an arrow nocked. A dry fire can damage the bow by forcing it to absorb all the stored energy.
String Maintenance – Regularly inspect your bowstring for signs of excessive wear. Waxing your string periodically will help prolong its life.
Bow Inspections – Check your bow regularly for splinters, cracks, or other unusual signs of wear and tear.
Unstring When Not in Use – Always unstring your bow if it won’t be used for an extended period to relieve tension on the limbs.
Shipping Responsibility – Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs related to repairs or returns.

What is the difference between a longbow and a recurve bow?
Longbows have a classic D-shape and provide a smooth draw, making them great for traditional archery and historical enthusiasts.
Recurve bows have tips that curve away from the archer, offering more power and efficiency for shorter, more compact designs.
Currently, we specialize in handmade traditional longbows. We are looking to possibly extend into recurves in the future.
